Evening Shift (3:00p - 8:00p)

The Gilbert Residence provides basic nursing care to 32 residents. Supportive Living, Assisted Living and Specialized Dementia care to 58 residents. We are a 5 Star facility rated by CMS and have a long tradition of excellence by providing compassionate and dignified care.

The front desk/receptionist position is a critical role within our company as it is the first contact many clients and employees have when they visit our facility.

The idea candidate will answer phone and in-person inquiries in a professional and friendly manner. They will provide information to callers or direct them to the appropriate personnel. They will sort and distribute the daily mail. The ideal candidate must be able to proficiently use Microsoft Word, Outlook and Microsoft Excel among other office equipment.

The Gilbert Residence is a smoke free campus. Smoking or the use of tobacco products is prohibited in or on all Gilbert Residence buildings, grounds, parking lots, vehicles, or sidewalks adjacent to the property. Drug & tobacco screening, in addition to a physical will be required upon hire.

DUTIES

• Greet guests to the facility
• Answer phones, screen calls and take messages
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail
• Prepare electronic and written correspondence
• Schedule appointments
• Complete general office duties
• Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a pleasant, professional and friendly demeanor
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be familiar with office equipment such as fax machine, computer, multi-line telephone and postage machines.
• Must have weekend availability
• Must be reliable
• Must have afternoon/early evening availability
• Must be a non smoker
