The Gilbert Residence provides basic nursing care to 32 residents. Supportive Living, Assisted Living and Specialized Dementia care to 58 residents. We carry a long tradition of excellence by providing compassionate and dignified care to seniors in the community.
The laundry aide provides support to the housekeeping department by performing basic laundry duties.
The Gilbert Residence is a smoke free campus. Smoking or the use of tobacco products is prohibited in or on all Gilbert Residence buildings, grounds, parking lots, vehicles, or sidewalks adjacent to the property.
DUTIES
-Sort laundry
-Wash, dry, fold clothes and linens
-Transport laundry to appropriate areas
-Some mending & ironing responsibilities
-Keeping work areas clean and tidy
QUALIFICATIONS
-Must be able to read, write, and speak English
-Must have the ability to follow directions
-Good customer service skills
-Must be reliable
-Must have weekend & holiday availability
-Must be a non smoker
