Afternoon Shift (10:30a - 7:00p)

The Gilbert Residence provides basic nursing care to 32 residents. Supportive Living, Assisted Living and Specialized Dementia care to 40 residents. We carry a long tradition of excellence by providing compassionate and dignified care.

The laundry aide provides support to the housekeeping department by performing basic laundry duties.

The Gilbert Residence is a smoke free campus. Smoking or the use of tobacco products is prohibited in or on all Gilbert Residence buildings, grounds, parking lots, vehicles, or sidewalks adjacent to the property.

DUTIES

• Sorting laundry
• Washing, drying, folding clothes and linens
• Transporting laundry to appropriate areas
• Some mending & ironing responsibilities
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must have the ability to follow directions
• Good customer service skills
• Must be reliable
• Must have weekend availability
• 40 hours per two-week pay period
• Must be a non smoker
