Director of Life Enrichment
The Director of Life Enrichment is responsible for overseeing and implementation of an ongoing program of activities for each resident based on their individual needs and interests. The Gilbert Residence has a variety of care level needs which include nursing, assisted living and memory support.
DUTIES
Plan, implement and document daily programming and activity schedules for all residents. Oversee and supervise activity assistant staff. Plan special events, special presentations and community outreach. Manage and oversee all volunteer activities. Attend interdisciplinary meetings and care conferences as directed. Assistance with MDS, Care Plans and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist who is licensed or registered by the State of Michigan or other approved certification programs. Qualifications must meet the Federal Guidelines for the qualified professional who directs the activity program.
