The Gilbert Residence, a Governor's Award winning facility in Ypsilanti, has an exceptional opportunity available for an experienced individual to provide leadership for its 72 unit residential CCRC. The facility includes a 32 person basic nursing unit, a 40 person assisted living, and a 10 person specialized dementia unit.
DUTIES
The qualified candidate must be creative and innovative with strong interpersonal, communication, budget development, and leadership skills. In addition, the candidate will develop and implement vision and strategy for long range planning for the organization, working in concert with a supportive Board of Trustees, community, families and a team of dedicated employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A love for the elderly is critical, as is the ability to develop teamwork.
- A Nursing Home Administrator's license or equivalent experience with eligibility to obtain a license is required.
- Candidate should possess a thorough knowledge of current industry requirements and trends.
